Yo~ My name is Carrie and I'm working on this site on-and-off.
Reading, fitness, and finding cute cafes are my current passions! I used to be very much into video games and anime, but lately I'm a reader and website builder instead. I still dabble sometimes, but people change as much as they don't, I guess.
Feeling nostalgic for the "old web", I started building this site in March of 2025 after a couple failures to get it started a year before. So why Subway Witch? Well my hometown is a small place wih no reliable transportation and I spent my young adult years owning and maintaining a used car--I hate cars! They are black hole for money!! I moved away to a city and discovered the joins of public transport--TRUE FREEDOM. Now, I'm an avid user of public transport!! Metro, bus, shared bike, tram--you name it, I've ridden it. Embarressingly, I get car sick nowadays. Also, "subway witch" is the gender I've been assigned by a random online quiz a long time ago, lol, for appreciating the finer things in life while also being down-to-earth and practical.
As of now, I don't have much to share! I don't blog or make a ton of art anymore. But maybe one day I'd love to share more about my OCs. They are the true loves of my life.
